The Flood and Water Management Act 2010 requires new developments and redevelopments in England and Wales to have drainage plans for surface water run-off.
A SuDS scheme is designed to replicate the natural drainage from a Site to ensure that the surface water run-off does not have a detrimental impact on the environment. SuDS schemes can benefit the quality and quantity of water discharge plus potential positive impacts on the amenity and biodiversity of a Site.
We have undertaken drainage assessments on all sizes and types of development across the UK where surface water drainage information is requested by the Local Authority and Environment Agency. Reports are tailored to meet site requirements by a highly experienced team of hydrologists and hydrogeologists. Clients include small developers, house builders, utility companies, the Environment Agency, and Local Authorities.
