29 Mar Liz Withington Joins ESI’s Property Team
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Liz Withington to our growing Property Team.
Liz joins us from Geotechnical Engineering Ltd (GEL) where she has worked for the last 16 years and brings extensive experience in the design, procurement, management and supervision of ground investigations and land remediation schemes.
Liz also has detailed knowledge and experience in the logging and interpretation of ground conditions throughout the UK, the geotechnical appraisal and design for foundations, and the issues associated with contaminated and derelict land.
In her most recent role she has been responsible for business development and running GEL’s learning academy, so brings excellent knowledge and experience to complement the skills within ESI’s Land Group.
Prior to working with GEL Liz worked as a geotechnical engineer in the Public Sector, as a consultant in land reclamation, and as an engineering geologist for a main contractor.
Liz will be spending most of her time supporting the Property Teams in Cardiff and Reading, along with providing ground investigation support to our Shrewsbury teams.
As the current Chair of the Midland Geotechnical Society, and the Secretary of the Western Regional Group of the Geological Society, Liz is keen to promote the development and knowledge of all practitioners in the industry through knowledge sharing, lectures, talks and networking.
