Paul is an experienced hydrogeologist, groundwater modeller and project manager. During his professional career, he has applied his hydrogeological expertise to a range fields, including groundwater and contaminant transport modelling, water resources assessment, low flow investigations, water quality investigations, groundwater risk assessment, environmental impact assessment and infrastructure development.

 

Paul has particular skills in quantitative hydrogeology, and has developed conceptual and numerical models of several of the UK’s major aquifer systems, including the London Basin groundwater system and the Sherwood Sandstone aquifer underlying Birmingham.

Barnaby Harding
Barnaby Harding

Barnaby has over 18 years of experience as a project manager and hydrogeologist on a wide range of environmental, development and infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas.

 

With a strength in quantitative hydrogeology, he has worked on groundwater modelling projects and has an extensive applied experience on pumping test execution and analysis, stormwater and wastewater disposal, and geotechnical issues.

 

Most recently he has been the Team Leader for the groundwater components of the HS2 Environmental Impact Assessment.

Alex Egan

Alex is a resourceful and solution focused Geo-environmental consultant and multi-disciplinary project manager. He has worked on a wide range of public and private sector projects throughout the UK.

 

Specialising in land quality and environmental risk assessment, Alex has a depth of experience in the guiding clients through the complexities of the planning regime and supporting the strategic acquisition and divestment of land.

 

He combines his practical knowledge of site investigation methods, with a comprehensive technical knowledge of risk assessment and remediation techniques, and strong project management skills to provide expert project steer and delivery.

Andy Singleton
Andy Singleton

Technical Director, Waste

 

Andy is an experienced hydrogeologist and project manager/director who has worked on a wide range of projects in the UK and abroad, specialising in contaminant and water resource hydrogeology and environmental risk assessment.

 

He has a depth of experience in field hydrogeology relating to both water supply and contaminated land investigations and now more recently with waste management and recovery.

 

He has extensive knowledge of controlled waters and human health risk assessment and is a course director for a number of ESI’s commercially run contaminated land and risk assessment courses. He also presents on a number of external courses, including contributions on behalf of Sheffield University.

 

Andy’s wider environmental management expertise covers environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing, due diligence and environmental management systems, including risk assessment tools.
